adam rippon talked about how his decision to come out was made at least in part to inspire gay kids and to let them know they are not alone and to have courage. since coming out he’s grown stronger, flourished in owning his identity, and i am so proud to see someone so strong and brave representing young scared gay kids going the olympics to look fabulous and kick ass :’)
“I don’t really care what other people think of me. I’m able to go out there and I’m really able to be unabashedly myself,” he said. “I want somebody who’s young, who’s struggling, who’s not sure if it’s OK if they are themselves to know that it’s OK.”
