That was the one and only truth Connor believed in before he grabbed his partner’s hand; thus saving Hank’s life when a deviant escaped from Connor’s pursuit. There was a minute voice within his programming that told Connor to stay, told him to hold on, told him to protect a life more fragile than his own.
“You are my mission,” were the words that slipped from Connor’s lips. His grip never faltered.
