The Avatar series could potentially make 2 more shows after Legend of Korra with an earth nation avatar and a fire nation avatar and I for one would not protest.

Avatar could come full circle and do another show about the next Air Nomad Avatar (someone who was different from Aang) and even another one about the next Water Tribe Avatar and so on and so forth and I would not protest.

Avatar could do another show about another Avatar centuries before ATLA or another avatar thousands of years after and go out of order and tell any story in any era they want and I would not protest.

the reason I love Shoma Uno so much is because everyone else in the sport is a top athlete in everything they do, down to the way they think. They train in big rinks with coaches who used to win the big titles themselves when they were younger. They complete their interviews and photoshoots and press conferences with the same confidence and poise that they display on the ice.

And then there’s Shoma.

Still in the same corner of Japan he was born in, in the same rink and with the same coach he had when he started skating at age 5. Spending his nights gaming and then missing buses to olympic events because he overslept. Profoundly uncomfortable with any kind of public attention.

Shoma “yeah I skate sometimes in my free time… oh wait was that the Olympics I just came second at? oh well that happens sometimes, now can you turn that camera off I’d like to sleep” Uno.

What a man.

why are there all these posts n articles n stuff that are like “girls can have short hair!” “girls can wear suits!” but all the women shown are still always only feminine, and whats actually being said is “girls can have short hair and still be feminine!” and “girls can wear suits and still be attractive to men!” like whenever women want to do something men (and sometimes other women too, but men are awful at this) have to find a way to make it Still Okay, Still Acceptable to them, instead of just letting women be! women dont need to fit any standards of femininity or beauty to do something, and they certainly don’t need mens approval

and its really gross considering these articles are usually about styles/behaviors associated with wlw, like they’re basically saying “doing this is okay, as long as youre straight!”

yeah. if we’re going to say this is great (and it is)

then we also need to honestly promote this as well

Please normalize and celebrate butch.
