Ever since i first read the description of this one painting Viktor makes in the fic I’ve been like”I NEED TO PAINT THIS” but I didn’t have canvases here so it’s watercolour and pencil on paper. Hey! So my first semester project for my 3D Modelling/Texturing etc. program was to take a 2d concept and turn it into a fully 3D scene. So that’s what this is! We only needed a still image for the final but I’m probably going to spend some time rendering a rotating video later on when I can.
It took about 4 weeks! And of course, thanks to Griffin Mcelroy and all the Mcelroys for The Adventure Zone, Magnus, and the Voidfish. Wish I could’ve gotten this done in time for the finale. Thanks boys!

He looks like he’s saying: “I don’t know about this, but I’ll put on whatever you tell me? It’s kind of my first high fashion shoot, so…” Then lots of confused shoulder shrugging.

As a 90′s kid, it blows my mind that origami youtube videos exist. You can look up any model and watch a pair of manicured hands assemble the thing in real time, in full color, in 3D, with cheerful flute music in the background. When I was little, you had a library book with no words and these esoteric little dotted lines and arrows and it was just you, your hands, your paper, and the cruel, uncaring eyes of God.
