I really try to challenge Canadian stereotypes at every opportunity but today I was walking down Young St. in Toronto and a firetruck honked very loudly and I clutched my chest and said “MY WORD” and as it drove past, a fireman leaned out of the window and apologized to me
so I just don’t know

this one time I ran a red light on mistake and I didn’t notice it was red until it was too late so I just ran the light screeching like an angry pterodactyl the entire time

a cop was at the intersection so he pulled me over and when he came up to my window he was wheezing cause he was laughing so hard and he said

“ok so i know you ran a red light and that’s really bad and you should never do it again but i’m not gonna give you a ticket cause that was the funniest thing i’ve ever seen and my partner can’t get out of the car cause he’s laughing so hard he’s about to pee himself”

i forgot that i’d had my window open when i ran the red light and the cop told me that all he heard from my car was this really high-pitched “screeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEAAAHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhh”

and that’s how i got out of getting a ticket for running a red light

the fact that your patronus can be a person is really creepy to me

like imagine ron seeing hermione cast a patronus and his freckly spectral face is grinning at him from across the room? i would freak the fuck out

I am just imagining some American transfer student goes go Hogwarts, does the charm, and out pops Obama. Just full out President Obama.

Reblog if your patronus is President Obama.

“thanks obama” i say as i high five my patronus after he protects me from dementors

Adding my own thoughts on the “Earth is Space Australia” idea floating around, I’m imagining some aliens finding an *absolute* death world, scorching hot, every single species of fauna is venomous, most of the flora is poisonous too, there’s barely any water… they think to themselves “okay, this time we’ve got it. We’ll finally stump the humans. This is a world they can’t possibly think to inhabit”. So they take it to the human colony bureau or whatever and a human stares at their report for a long while, “hmms” a lot, and then after a long moment goes,

“Send the Australians.”
