This is for Yuuri Week 2018 Day 3: Olympic! I used a ref of
Yuzuru Hanyu at the 2018 Olympics in the Japan Team gear that they had done the
Yuuri on Ice Collab with. đ And since the Olympics are all about making
history, I tried to match the style of the History Maker opening! đ
Yuuri Week day 4: Birthday! I actually wasnât expecting to be able to get anything else done for Yuuri Week, so even though this is basically a glorified doodle, Iâm happy I got to put something up for Yuuriâs Birthday! ^_^
At the age of 19 Padme Amidala was the queen of a planet and had already saved her people from total crisis
At the age of 19 Anakin Skywalker was married and a general in a galaxy wide war and was considered to be one of the most powerful Jedi in historyÂ
At the age of 19 Leia Organa was a senator in the imperial senate as well as a leader and spy for the Rebellion
At the age of 19 Luke was making vroom vroom noises with his toy planesÂ
I love him so much
Reblog if you empathize with Luke
At Lukeâs age of 19, Uncle Owen established the longest record of holding back the tidal forces of Skywalker bullshit, besting the previous record of 22 minutes set by Obi Wan Kenobi
is that no teacher ever called him James by accident, or that Ron never was called âBill-, eh Charl-, no Per-, argh!â
As a younger sister who knows this struggle all too well: THIS IS REAL. Pretty sure 70% of my past teachers still think Iâm called what my sister is called in fact.
Imagine Fred being called Percy by McGonagall accidentally and then he gets so offended that he refers to her by âProfessor [insert any other name but McGonagallâ for the rest of the year, costing Gryffindor a considerable amount of points one at a time.
From then on, she vows to just call them all Mr Weasley.
Until Ginny comes along and she calls her Mr Weasley by accident and Ginny âaccidentallyâ calls her Sir and it starts again.
Itâs lightly off-topic but also slightly relevant but I have long cherished this mental image of Professor Snape saying something snappish to Harry in just the wrong tone of voice and Harry absentmindedly, wearily, and completely accidentally responding with, âYes, Aunt Petunia.â
Due to the paper she drew it on (which is what animators usually use when drawing key frames for anime), some have been speculating that this might actually be a frame from the movie – though considering that she must be under NDA, and the fact that sheâs a key animator so she probably has many of those blank papers laying around, itâs quite unlikely it has anything to do with the movie (though BOY do I wanna be proven wrong here).
Soon after the tweet with the drawing, she also posted this tweet, and although itâs not specified whether sheâs talking about yoi, it kind of sounds like it:
âRecently, Iâve been thinking that when it comes to liking something, gender or age or nationality or religion or skin color donât really matter.â
Take it as you will, but the one clear thing is her celebratory illustration is beautiful.
Tumblr is apparently doing some crazy nonsense again, so it seems like a good time to remind everyone that Pillowfort.io is a new social media platform that aims to give users control of their content and how itâs seen and shared, as well as provide better communication tools to promote conversation and creativity. If this sounds good to you, you can donate $5 to our PayPal and you will receive a registration link the Friday after your donation. And if you decide the site isnât for you, you can request a refund for up to three weeks after you sign up. (All money we receive through this process is going towards paying our hosting expenses and compensating our programmers.)
Reblogging this in light of the recent news, since weâve been getting a lot of questions from people looking to join. If youâve sent us a payment since the 16th of November you will receive your invitation email shortly after the site returns, which will likely be tomorrow! If you want to purchase more than one registration link ($5 per link, so $15 for example would get you 3 registration links) you can give them to anyone you wantâ the ones you purchase are not tied to your account in any way.
Now, Pillowfort will not always require a payment to sign up; we are doing this because we are still in the process of implementing our subscription plan, which will be our source of long-term revenue, and these payments through PayPal give us funding to make sure we can pay all our server expenses, employee compensation, etc. while we are still working on implementing our business plan. Once we exit beta you will be able to join the site and use all of its essential features
for free, with the option to pay for some extra goodies similar to what LiveJournal and DreamWidth offer in their subscription plans.
