We need to talk about the scene where Connor breaks into Hank’s house. The way he thinks he has to run and catapult inside instead of just crawling through the window? Priceless. The way he falls on his back, tumbles, and then awkwardly scrambles up? Majestic. The way he calms the dog? It’s perfect. “Easy Sumo, I’m your friend…” (Awkward laugh.) “I know your name…” Just amazing. Obviously if Connor didn’t know know Sumo’s name, he wouldn’t be his friend, but because he does, that specifically makes him his friend.
Wanted to get some digital painting practice in the other day, and after watching Jacksepticeye’s playthrough of “Detroit: Become Human”; Connor proved to be a fun muse! (I need to work in this style more often, lol)
(Also: it’s worth noting that shortly after finishing this piece I was made aware of the issues present in certain elements ‘Detroit’’s content as well as certain members of it’s production crew (namely it’s producer) – but it is still possible to objectively enjoy content while acknowledging the flaws it has. Either way I was pretty happy with how this piece turned out, so I figured I may as well upload it 🙂 )
