Victor needs answers. Yahoo answers.
His embarrassing questions are apparently read in a popular podcast—one introduced to him by none other than Yuuri himself.
Teen and Up Audiences. 3,993 words. Complete.
Victor Nikiforov has many qualities: he is the most decorated skater in the world, possesses great beauty, can lick the tip of his nose and is a pretty good cook.
That being said, flirting isn’t exactly his forté.
All of his dates had been effortless—he didn’t need to worry about catching their date’s interest, and when he wasn’t particularly engrossed with the idea of committing to a relationship dating was… almost easy. The other part would usually to make the most effort and Victor would allow himself to be chased.
Victor’s experience with dating wasn’t exactly… vast. It wasn’t his number one interest and, in his youth, he had been too shy to go after someone he was interested in. So for the vast majority of his adulthood, he couldn’t recall ever flirting with someone with the full intention of seducing them. It had always been a given—who wouldn’t want to date the Victor Nikiforov?
He knew that eventually his lack of aptitude to flirt would come back to bite him in the ass. He only didn’t know it would make him groan in exasperation when he didn’t know what to do and how to proceed.
The beautiful boy from the banquet, Yuuri Katsuki, hadn’t called him back. Granted, he had been the drunkest Victor had ever seen a person be, but he knew Victor—was his fan—and wouldn’t stop thanking him and apologizing for his behavior.
He had been cute. Too cute.
Victor really wanted to know him better—talk to him without three liters of champagne in his system—so he had given him his number. Casual, right? It had happened to him before.
Though… he had never been on the other end. He didn’t know what to do. Chris didn’t know what to tell him and the fact Yuuri didn’t use social media made it even harder for him to figure out what to do.
So in a late night, when he couldn’t sleep because he was too busy trying to think of what he could possibly do to draw Yuuri’s attention to him, he had an idea.
He would ask the internet.

MAGICAL BOI YURI AND VILLAIN VICTOR!!! OwO
a smol magical AU that @lucycamui and I have been gabbing about for a bit now XD
It won’t be as big a thing as the Siren AU, but you’ll see some ficlits and art here and there :3Yuri’s magical boi name is “Eros” and he’s a very good boi!!! >W<
Victor goes by “VIcious” but tells Yuri to call him Victor for short XD
HE AND MALICIOUS MAKKA TERRORIZE THE CITYBut doing things like
stealing all the dogs in the city
“HAHAHAHAHA, EROS, NOW I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN HAVE A DOG!!!”
*drowns in pupper kisses*“Put that camera down right now! How do I know the angle of those shots are gonna be worthy? At least have the decency of obtaining my approval before you upload those! I can’t have my image ruined like this so early on!”
Yuuri shielded his eyes from the morning sky, resting the pad of his thumb atop his signature blue frames. “How long has he been up there?”
“Uhhh, don’t know. However long it took for the kids to see him and start taking photos? Which was when we got here. Maybe an hour ago or so?”
“Hmmm.” If Yuuri remained staring up for much longer, he was going to pinch a nerve in his neck. He could not even be sure if the view was a good one or not.
From the roof of Ice Castle, a man was hanging, a golden cape snagged on a broken section of drain pipe. His legs kicked occasionally, high-heels tipped and pointed accusingly at the triplets snapping away below. Yuuri could not be sure if that would make for good social media buzz or not, but if their father was not stopping them, he would not object.
Very shapely legs, Yuuri would give him that. Not many men had to structure or confidence to pull off pink thigh-high boots.
“Can you get him down, Eros? It’s almost opening time. I don’t know what the customers are gonna think.”
Yuuri flashed his best public smile. “Just keep your girls safe and out of the way.” With a click of his heels, Yuuri leapt.
A single stride took him halfway up the side of the building, the short fabric of his skirt ruffling with the sweet-scented breeze he generated. The red insole of Yuuri’s boot planted firm on the edge of the roof. From down below, he heard the rapid continous clicking of cell phone cameras.
From down by his feet, he heard a “Wow amazing!”
Frigidly blue eyes stared up at him from behind a golden mask. Yuuri felt himself groan. Not another one… That jawline though. Wow amazing indeed.
“Eros! You’ve come to save me!”
Masked-and-Gorgeous thrust his arms out in invitation to Yuuri. The broken drain pipe buckled under the sudden motion, dropping. Yuuri seized fistfuls of golden cape, preventing the culprit from dropping with it. A chorus of impressed “ooooh"s floated up to the roof, sounding over the crash of metal on concrete.
“Ahhh, help me, I haven’t figured out if I can fly yet!”
“Stop squirming then!” Yuuri yelled back to the panicking man, winding the fabric of the cape around his wrist to pull him up far enough to be able to grab onto his arms. Yuuri’s grip slipped. The man yelped as he dropped an inch before Yuuri managed to latch on again. “Get your feet against the wall and help me!”
“These shoes are Louboutin’s, I’ll die first!”
Yuuri chose not to point out that drop of not nearly two stories would not kill him. He did contemplate letting go in demonstration. Probably not while the triplets are recording though. “Can you– you need to– I need you to– what’s your name?”
“Oh!” The heart-shaped smile that got flashed at Yuuri was breath-taking. Not literally. If it had been, Yuuri might have dropped Masked-and-Gorgeous. “I am the masked villain Vicious! But you can call me Victor for short.” He winked, as if his ridiculously expensive shoes weren’t in danger of being ruined.
“That isn’t really shorter?”
“I just want to hear you say my name.”
“Ohmygod,” Yuuri muttered under his breath and heaved.
There was a rip. A shout. Several actually. Then a massive weight knocking Yuuri over in a tangle of limbs and fabrics. For a moment he was not sure where he ended and Victor began. Perhaps with the knee pressed precariously high between his thighs.
Yuuri’s hands plunged down to cover his frilly undergarments while his head snapped up to glare at– a very well sculpted chest. Why did he have to be so massively gay? Thank heavens he was so massively gay. Because the laced corset that Victor wore had a heart-shaped breast window. “Oh…”
Before Yuuri could process a single thing past the delightfully dusty pink nipples that he was eye-to-eye with, he was tackled, arms looping around his neck.
“I can’t believe Eros rescued me!”
“What… You said you were-…. I don’t understand?” Though Yuuri could hardly be blamed for not being able to think straight with such a fine male specimen planted in his lap.
“Oh, let me explain!” Victor pulled back and smiled again. Yuuri’s heart went doki-doki. “Eros, I am here to challenge you! From this day forth, I shall be your mortal enemy!” With a flourish, Victor tipped up his golden mask and winked. “Surprise!”
Yuuri’s heart stopped. Because that wasn’t just a Victor.
That was his Victor. Very suddenly, Yuuri regretted his profession.
YOI: Family is made in the heart
Title: Family is made in the heart
Rating: PG
Summary: @domesticvictuuriweek, Day 3, Prompt: FamilyAs innkeepers, the Katsuki family participates in the festival every year: Toshiya opens his best shochu, Hiroko cooks up three nights of feasts fit for an Emperor, while Mari hangs up paper lanterns around the inn, trading bawdy jokes with passing customers.
I really adore the idea of Hiroko managing to get time off and coming to one of Yuuri and Vicchan’s events in season 2.
Just this nondescript, petite, delicious-smelling lady. She has no idea how competitions work. Minako was supposed to come with her and be her guide, but they got separated in the crowd, so now she is calmly trying to tell one of the people guarding the entrance to the skater’s area to give her access.
“My sons are in there,” she explains in her patient English.
“I’m sorry, ma’am,” pleads the rink guard, who is having a breakdown over having to do his job rather than give this soft, sweet woman what she wants. Yuuri has Eros, but Hiroko has that Ultimate Mom aura. There are at least two passerby trying to convince him to let Hiroko in.
“Just let her go look for her kids, man.”
“You need a pass to get in this area. If you go talk to one of the managers, I’m sure they’ll page your lost sons for you–”
“Oh, there’s Vicchan!”
The small crowd that has gathered expects to see some lost, unassuming youth. This is not what happens. Instead, charmingly Japanese Hiroko, who on her tiptoes squeaks in at five feet, points directly at five-time champion, six-foot-tall and excruciatingly Russian Viktor Nikiforov.
“Uh,” is the collective response to this, which basically translates to what the hell.
But Hiroko and Viktor Nikiforov’s eyes lock. “Mama!” He gasps, brightening, and breaks off from one of Yakov’s long rants to make a beeline to the edge of the section. He is followed, approximately six seconds later, by his also tall, world-record holding fiance, who already has his game face on and is hence TERRIFYING.
“Hi, mom,” Yuuri greets, while Viktor and Hiroko embrace, which involves Viktor essentially bending in half. “Where’s your pass? I know we asked for one for you.”
“I think Minako has it?” Hiroko says with a smile. “This gentleman was about to let me in.”
Both Yuuri and Viktor are already in their skates and skate guards. This adds another intimidating three or four inches and sharp blades to their lithe, muscular forms. They are also fricking NIKIFOROV AND KATSUKI.
“Please take my wallet,” the guard wants to say, but instead wordlessly ushers Katsuki Hiroko into the skater’s area.
Gentle, Best Mom Hiroko spends the rest of the competition wedged between her tall, outwardly intimidating but actually very marshmallow soft sons. IT IS A GOOD DAY
“Usually the kissing in the Kiss and Cry after Katsuki and Nikiforov’s skates is hot hot HOT,” one of the announcers reveals later. Hiroko kisses Vicchan on the forehead, and pats Yuuri’s hand. “This competition, it’s just heartwarming.”
The moment that really got to me was when Victor saw her and called her Mama. 😭😭 I’m a mess now.
