lazuliblade:

Evgenia Medvedeva – 81.61 (WR until later) – clean jumps. The 3F+3T was clean but she didn’t do a Rippon on the 3T like usual. The 3Lo was so nice. The 2A had a slightly rough landing – the running edge wasn’t as smooth as usual, but it was still clean.

Satoko Miyahara – 75.94 – 3Lz+3T clean! 3Lo was super nice. 2A was fast and clean. I always love the amount of detail in this program’s choreo. It’s such a treat to watch in a field focused on technique. The final spin is probably my favorite in the field – it doesn’t travel at all! Magnificent.

Kaetlyn Osmond – 78.87 – 3F+3T was nice. She did a flutz next, but had nice running edge. That 2A was huge. It’s such a fun and sassy program. I love how BIG her jumps are too.

Alina Zagitova – 82.92 (WR broke Evgenia’s) 3Lz+3Lo clean, 3F Rippon was great, 2A was nice – small, but it does have a short setup so that’s nice. (What was up with Eteri??? She didn’t even smile or congratulate Alina…)

Carolina Kostner – 3F+2T clean, 3Lo hand down, 2A was glorious, her step sequence was arresting. I’m going to miss seeing these kind of skating skills.

Maria Sotskova – 63.86 – fall on the 3Lz (looked underrotated?), 3F+3T good, 2A nicely done. I like her lines and extension.

Winter Olympics 57

Well that concludes it for tonight/today!! Can’t wait for the free [in two days apparently]!!! I’m so happy because I’m starting to really get into the sport and I can better recognize when something atrociously beautiful, powerful or incredible happens and it’s so exciting!!!
