Can we talk about the significance of this outfit being inspired by Johnny Weir, an openly gay skater, who also used to have a husband named Victor Noronov (who is of Russian decent)? YOI is big on symbolism and subtle clues so while this is a really sweet gesture of honoring Johnny’s legacy, I feel like this is also a bit of a nudge towards Victor’s character.
