Guys look at this, the Sakurai Animal Hospital, which based on the photo is the same one Makkachin was taken to in the series, now has its own YOI theme decoration.
Fifteen-year-old Shimada Koushirou, set to represent Japan at the Junior World Championships, will apparently be skating to Ai ni Tsuite ~ Eros at Okayama International Skating Rink (the same rink where Yuuri skated for the Chuu-Shikoku-Kyuushuu tournament in episode 5).
FS Skating Life commented on the performance:
“Today, Skater Shimada Koushiro performed ‘Ai ni Tsuite ~ Eros’, which was skated by Katsuki Yuuri in the anime Yuri!!! on Ice. Regarding his FS performance late last year at Japan Nationals, aired on BS Fuji, he said, ‘I want everyone to see my love’. We’re looking forward to this 15-year-old’s efforts at the World Junior Championships.”
It’s finally here. The era in which professional skaters actually skate to songs from Yuri!!! on Ice. This was apparently part of a recital/exhibition performance at the rink.
