i just want to preface this by saying– there is nothing canon about this, i’m not trying to say it’s ~official~. all of this is just what i think as a viewer of the show who has been watching shit (the majority of which is anime) for a long time and am thus used to visual/auditory cues. i also speak japanese well enough that i get the audio cues, but i’ll try not to dwell on them for those of you who don’t!
this is going to be a long fucking post because there are a ton of screencaps in here (every interaction that i felt was even slightly important) so be warned lol. tbh it’s more for my own reference than anything ANYWAY here we go.
