this list has been established with the help of fellow frog @castorlovescourgette and is based on three criterias:
• if you play it at a party, 97% of us know the lyrics and will totally sing along
• if asked about it outside of a party, you can bet your ass we’ve never heard of those songs before
• pathetic dance moves will be involved
those are all songs from our childhood, or songs we were raised with. It’s not so much what was popular on the radio, more what we used to sing (and still do, though we won’t admit it) when we were kids. Also included openings from our favourite cartoons because we definitely know the lyrics and we play them at parties. I’d say everyone from 18 to 25 should know all of those songs.
